My name is Henrique Green AKA Mashapat Ash
I was born in the Parish of Falmouth, Trelawny, Jamaica.
My hobbies include singing, writing songs, reading, playing football and watching movies.
My first interest in music was at age 10. I was in All Age School, and I was chosen from Devotion to sing at a Funeral. Since then my love and passion for music has continuously grown and become stronger.
My first time singing on a mic was in a stage show called Compound Rock, in Falmouth, on the compound. My friends heard my flow and loved it. I thought to myself that I should pursue a music career. I was getting forwards and pullups then, and decided to migrate to East Kingston. The music gateway was open. Caveman had a professional state of the art reggae recording studio in the Peace Center, and I made use of it I lived in that Studio, learning and mastering my techniques for 4 years, singing along with live instruments.
My biggest performance was when a promoter booked myself and Sizzla Kalonji on a set called Trelawny Jerk Fest. There were more than 700 patrons in the audience that night. I got an overwhelming reception and warm response from them. It was unbelievable.
I have worked with several producers, over the years, who have helped me to perfect my musical craft. Now I make and produce my own music.
My goal is to become very efficient in the
Reggae Music Industry.
I aspire to be a legend like Bob Marley, Bunny Wailer, Peter Tosh, and Sizzla Kalonji.
